Languedoc Wine Discovery Workshop

Join us for this exceptional and unique event hosted by a local wine expert based in the Malepere region of the Languedoc in south west France.

The Languedoc region produces unique, sometimes surprising and some high quality wines due to its various climatic influences, those of the Mediterannean, the Altantic and due to its variations in altidude.

Starting with a review of some basic wine tasting skills wilt our expert, in this workshop, you will discover a total of *8 wines* – 4 high quality ‘adoptive’ single grape variety Languedoc wines and be able to compare them with equivalent wines with the same varieties produced in the region of origin of each of those varieties.

The target audience is for wine lovers who already have a basic appreciation of wine constituents and flavours but the session will start with a summary review of these characterstics as an introduction.

The price of the session includes the cost of wine and the expert fee.

The location is in the Aude, about 1 hour from Toulouse but we can organise car sharing, or you yourself can volunteer to take people. The session will last 2 hours and sufficient time will be allowed for drivers to recover from any effects of the alcohol.

Spittoons will be provided so you don’t have to consume the wine you are tasting if you don’t want to.
